One of the 'problems' I run into especially when seeking trades for harder to find items is that a lot of users with the items up for trade are no longer active, or have had their Neopets accounts frozen entirely.
I think it would be helpful for inactive accounts to have all of their lists made private after a certain length of time without logging in to their DTI account.7 votes
It would be awesome if you could allow sharing of all one's outfits.6 votes
Hmm, I like the idea of a public profile that includes a user’s outfits. Thanks for submitting :D
Right now, though, that’d also require privacy settings: what outfits, if any do users want to be discoverable by their username? I feel safe with security through obscurity (who’s gonna actually sift through hundreds of thousands of outfits by ID number?), but, if someone’s a well-known customizer, they might not want their work-in-progress outfits to be so easy to find.
I’m not sure if feature merits the additional complexity of privacy controls, and it’s definitely a back-burner feature for now, but I’ll keep it in mind. One of our long-term goals is to improve outfit sharing in general and make it easier to discover other outfits in the Dress to Impress community. I’d imagine public profiles would come along with that update :)… but it’s still pretty far out on the horizon.
I'd like to change the way the exported list looks, but I find the coding really difficult to work with. I've spent all morning trying to figure out how (if there is a way) to have more than five items per row. I will eventually will try also to change the text style, colour scheme etc.
I think that even having a text section of quick tips on how to change these things would be extremely useful. =)4 votes
Mkay, the petpages are now more designer-friendly: just change the width of the container and the browser will automatically fit the right number of items into it :) This was easy and fun, so I went ahead and did it.
I’ll consider adding more options, but it’s a low-priority feature right now, especially since the whole thing is much more manageable with CSS now anyway. Sorry you spent so much time on it this morning, and here’s hoping this helps :D
I just exported to my petpage and found that I still had to manually copy my category descriptions. The descriptions tend to be pretty important, with additional comments or instructions for trading. It would be handy if this was done automatically.3 votes
For example, when I go to import my items from my Safety Deposit Box, I have to go through all the pages of my NP items first. Even when I click my neocash list, after the first page is imported. It will return to the second page of Neopoint items. It's very difficult to do when you only want to do it through DTI itself. I've had to open my SDB on Neopets itself to import more quickly. So if there is any way possible for you guys to just go straight to the Neocash items in SDB that would be amazing! thank you for all your hard work and time!

Hmm. I’d much prefer a category for Wearables in general so that it’ll capture all of ’em—I considered defaulting to Neocash, but opted not to because NP wearables would be missed. But having it as an option might be reasonable…
Hi. You changed some coding at the end of June or beginning of July, and now the screen looks & acts messed up when I try clothes on pets.
Hi. You changed some coding at the end of June or beginning of July, and now the screen looks & acts messed up when I try clothes on pets. The box for "Closet / Sharing / Outfits" is now way at the bottom of the browser window, blocking half of the clothing items that I search for. And the page is generally MUCH SLOWER now too. Um, can you change things back to the way they'd always been? I think it happened when you added a link for "Big Picture." Thanks. :)1 vote
Hmm, the server has been running with zero changes since June 24, and the main wardrobe page shouldn’t have changed since April 5. This smells like a change in your browser settings somewhere, like a newly installed extension. Maybe send a screenshot to email@example.com and I’ll take a closer look—and be sure to try the site in Incognito Mode or some equivalent and see how the site behaves for you without any browser extensions.
I can't seem to contact you about bug problems. I click on the "report bug" But nothing happens! What do I do to tell you that no sets of wings work at all on the Relic Korbat?1 vote
That’s a link to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org—if you don’t have any email handler set up, your computer could do anything with it, including doing absolutely nothing. Sorry for the trouble.
As for the Relic Korbat, the data we have on it suggests that wings aren’t allowed on it. We might need to adjust our definition of what “fits the Relic Korbat” in search—thanks for the heads-up!
